IT Service Desk Relocation to Library 1st Floor (Effective July 13th, 2026)

Dear students, faculty, and staff,

Please note that starting July 13th, 2026, the DKU IT Service Desk will relocate from Academic Building 2004 to the Library (1st floor), near the east entrance.

If you need in-person IT assistance, please visit us at our new Library location. We look forward to supporting you there.

Self-Service Room Booking Now Available

DKU IT Office is pleased to announce that, starting from June 1, 2026, selected campus rooms can be booked directly through Outlook desktop client or EMS web app.

Rooms you can book for yourself

• Study Rooms, Data Visualization Workshop, Meeting Rooms, Music Rooms, and more
• Please refer to the up-to-date room list

• We encourage users to use self-service booking. To provide a smooth transition to the new booking method, DKU Space Reservation will continue accepting reservation requests until the fall of 2026

Rooms NOT available for self-booking

• Academic space, including classrooms and team rooms
• Event space such as the ballroom, AB auditorium and other similar facilities
• Meeting rooms designated for specific purposes
• For these spaces, please continue to contact DKU Space Reservation

How to book

You may book rooms using:

• EMS web app

Please note

• Some rooms can be booked via both Outlook desktop client and EMS web app, while some rooms can be booked only via EMS web app. The up-to-date room list link above includes these details
• Meeting rooms and music rooms can be reserved for use within the next 180 days. Study rooms and data visualization workshop can be reserved for use within the next 7 days

This Wiki page was setup to reference training material and use policies for the special event spaces at DKU.

The equipment is mostly standardized between these rooms, with small configuration changes between them.

You are required to familiarize yourself with the safety and operation of the equipment in each space before you are allowed to operate the equipment for your own event. This is for the safety of yourself, and longevity for the expensive equipment we hope to use for many years.
